Stay a While, Summer.

Summer is already  F L Y I N G  by. I just want to hold onto it for dear life. We are working on the house in full force, trying to get as much done this summer as we can. Peronsonally, I'm looking to make some big changes too, and my head seems to constantly be swimming with thoughts about them.

You may have noticed I took a little hiatus from blogging after I went on vacation. I was feeling overwhelmed by a lot of different things, and honestly, just not myself. I also was testing to see if I do want to continue blogging. I lost a lot of my audience after my domain problems, and it seems a lot of bloggers are quitting these days too. Then, I laid in bed the other night and realized I missed it. I miss it pushing me to try new things and stay creative. I miss how my blog has helped to teach me new things and improve old.

So, I will be back. Soon.

It’s lovely to have a post from you again – the pictures are gorgeous. I’m glad you’re still getting something out of blogging, it’s not good to devote lots and time and energy to something if you’re not getting something back. I know as long as you’re happy to post, I’m happy to read :). Love from the UK x

  • blogging is such a tuff thing eh!? since i’ve moved to squarespace I haven’t seen many followers. I must say I don’t blog much, it’s more to showcase my work but I still tug along! As long as it’s making you feel good I think it’s a good idea :)
    cheers

I love reading your blog, and hope you find your mojo to get back into it. You have such a lovely sense of style and I look forward to your posts. :)

  • Thank you for your sweet words, Liz! I really appreciate you reading:)

  • It is tough! I think for me it’s so important to keep in mind that, in the end, I’m really just doing it for me, not anyone else. Good luck with your own blog! :)

  • Thank you so much Julia!

So today I woke up thinking about bloggers, and blogging, and how many of the bloggers I love stopped blogging. And I thought of your blog, and decided to go comment to say I missed it. Then I couldn’t find it. Then I did some searching and found out your blog moved! I’m so glad that you’re blogging again.

  • Oh! I’m so glad you found me again Abigail!! Unfortunately I had some trouble with my .com domain, so I ended up switching over, and was able to switch over all my bloglovin’ followers and change my social media links, but it stinks cause I know a lot of people might have just had me bookmarked or saved and there’s no way for me to reach out!
It’s so nice to hear from you again! Hope you’re doing well:)
